Connect with the Divine Feminine
The height of Spring is the perfect time to celebrate and connect with our innate feminine power, known in yoga as Shakti. Often represented as Devi / Goddess, the divine feminine is present in all living creatures, irrespective of their gender. There is no better time to experience the full force of this Shakti energy, than in the Spring when the world is in bloom.
This workshop is an opportunity to explore and nurture your creativity, self-expression, and sense of self-worth. Ultimately you will leave feeling more connected to your authentic self and your feminine power! Using a mix of traditional and modern yogic techniques including: movement, meditation, dynamic vinyasa and astrology in this 3 hr workshop with the hugely experienced, creative, and very lovely Jo Porter.
Date: Saturday 18th May 2024, 2pm to 5pm.
Cost: £60
Class location: The Barn, Denbies Wine Estate, Bradley Lane, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6AA.
Class instructions:
- You may wish to wear a pair of non-marking, clean indoor trainers for the standing section of the class. Outdoor shoes are not permitted.
- We have mats and props available for you in “The Studio”. You’re very welcome to bring your own mat and props with you if you prefer.
- Please bring a water bottle and towel with you to class.
- Please bring a blanket or extra layer for any relaxation phase of the class.
- Please arrive in your exercise wear ready for the class.
- Please check in with reception before your class.
- Generally, shoes are not permitted to be worn in “The Studio”. There is space in reception to leave shoes and any bags, etc.
- If taking your phone into 'The Studio', please set this to silent.
- Please do not park in the Denbies Farm Shop car park or block the Farm Shop delivery door.
