Course description:
Hypnobirthing is a full antenatal programme that will empower you and leave you feeling confident and excited about giving birth to your baby. We cover everything that you would expect from an antenatal course such as where to have your baby, what to expect during birth, the what ifs of birth and how your partner can best support you during birth. We also explain the science behind birth, the use of relaxation scripts, visualisations and massage techniques. These techniques combined aim to remove any preconceived idea about birth being a negative, traumatic experience and give you more of a positive outlook on birth. We also include an infant feeding and baby-care workshop to ensure you feel prepared for those first few weeks with your little one.

Course format:
The 13-hour course is delivered online for you (and your partner, where applicable) over seven weeks by experienced Midwife Hannah in collaboration with Surrey Hills Physiotherapy. You will receive support via email and phone between sessions and in the lead up to your baby's arrival. You will also have the option of a postnatal meet up with the babies. To complement what is taught in person you will receive a KGHypnobirthing book and course folder to read at your leisure.

  • Please have a water bottle handy.
  • We strongly recommend that you have one gym ball per couple (typically the 65cm or 75cm size for use during the classes and for your own comfort during sitting).
