Designed for intermediate yoga students seeking to deepen their practice and explore the intricacies of advanced asanas. This  workshop series offers a focused opportunity to refine your understanding of challenging postures such as Pincha Mayurasana (forearm stand), Sirsasana (headstand), Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand), and various arm balances. 

Each day will begin with a dynamic vinyasa flow, designed to warm up the body and cultivate mindfulness, followed by workshops dedicated to mastering key components of advanced asanas. Afternoons will include restorative practices, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation, creating balance and fostering a deeper connection to the inner self.

Whether you are looking to enhance your technique, unlock new capabilities, or cultivate greater awareness in your practice, this is your space to explore and grow within a supportive and encouraging environment. Return home with a renewed sense of confidence, greater knowledge, and tools to evolve your personal practice.


 Week 1: Fundamentals to Power Yoga and the importance of breath work


This week will focus on Power Yoga basics and explore the importance of building strength and understanding the workings of the body to support advanced asana. We will delve into the importance of breath work in supporting your practice and your student's practice.
This week will also focus on basic strength drills that can be incorporated into flows to develop the students and teachers foundations for advanced asana.

Week 1 Practice: Back Bending with a focus around King Pigeon.

Week 2: Advance Practices/Poses

This week will focus on looking at the different advanced practices available such as Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga, understanding how we can incorporate them into our practice and classes to enable advanced asana but also create a meditative state.

Week 2 Practice: Inversions with a focus around Headstand and Pincha.

Week 3: How to teach advanced flows and postures

This week will focus on advanced flows and postures around different parts of the body and will break down how to teach each pose based on your students ability. We will also look at the importance of props in enabling us to develop our practice.

Week 3 Practice: Arm Balance with a focus on Handstand drills.

Week 4: Relaxation, Yin and letting the practice go.

This week will focus on the importance of relaxation within a Power Practice. We will explore different breathing techniques and soft stretches to release the practice. We will also look at the work of different Yin practices to enable deeper holds in advanced poses.

Week 4 Practice: Hips with a focus on Wide Leg Forward Folds and deeper holds.
