Restorative Yin Yoga with Singing Bowls & Gongs

Nestle down into your blankets, pillows or bolsters, where Melé will guide you to feel comfortable and supported, so you can let go, rest and restore. The session will end with a sound meditation, where you will be bathed by the vibrations and sounds of the Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs and more. The vibrations from these wonderful and mysterious instruments wave and ripple through the body creating a sense of inner calm.

Restorative yin is a much slower-paced class with fewer postures, held longer (around three to ten minutes each) utterly supported by lots of props. This allows time to journey inwards, focus and release into the poses using the breath. Preparing you perfectly for sound meditation. These combined practices aid relaxation and calm the mind and nervous system, helping you to restore and heal.

All props will be provided. However, you may wish to bring snuggly socks, a blanket, eye shades and a soft scarf.

Class instructions:

• We have mats and props available for you to use in “The Studio”. You’re welcome to bring your own mat and props if you prefer.
• Please bring a water bottle and towel with you to class.
• Please bring a blanket or extra layer for any relaxation phase of the class.
• Please arrive in your exercise wear ready for the class.
• Generally, shoes are not permitted to be worn in “The Studio”. There is space in reception to leave shoes and any bags, etc.
• If taking your phone into 'The Studio', please set this to silent.
• Please do not park in the Denbies Farm Shop car park or block the Farm Shop delivery door.
