Roots & Resilience Yoga Workshop: How To Stay Sane In A Crazy World
When the news feels relentless, the bills keep rising, and the world seems to spin faster than we can keep up , where do you turn? This three-hour workshop with Amy Miller offers a sanctuary and a toolkit.
Roots & Resilience is a three-hour journey designed to bring you back to yourself. Not by ignoring the hard stuff, but by building the inner steadiness to meet it without being overwhelmed.
Over the course of the afternoon, we'll move through:
• Grounding yoga practices, postures that bring you home to your body and out of the spinning mind
• Breathwork, simple, evidence-based techniques you can use anywhere to calm your nervous system and feel more in control (you'll leave knowing exactly how to use these and when)
• Restorative yoga, deep, supported rest that allows your body and nervous system to genuinely exhale
• Chanting and sound, accessible and welcoming for beginners, these practices use vibration and community to lift the spirit and reconnect us to something larger than the current crisis. Just listening also welcome!
We'll close with time to integrate, so you leave not just having had a lovely afternoon, but with one or two practices you can actually sustain in real life.
This workshop won't pretend that yoga fixes the world. But it can remind you of what you're capable of, help you access your own resilience, and give you somewhere solid to stand.
All levels welcome.
