Class description: Led by a Physio, this class is aimed at people wanting to work on their mobility and function to optimise daily activities and independence. It is suitable for people who cannot or would prefer not to get down onto the floor. It is also suitable as a rehabilitation class, to recover from injury or as a step up to returning to a Pilates or Yoga class.

We recommend a 1-to-1 physiotherapy assessment prior to joining this class so that your functional needs and goals can be assessed (this is not essential).

Class location: This class will be live streamed from The Barn @ Denbies using Zoom. For information of how to join the class via Zoom please click here. Please note that to download the Zoom APP is free. 

Class instructions: 
  • Please ensure that you have sufficient space to ensure there are no obstacles or hazards in your way.
  • Please ensure that you have a sturdy chair to use as a balance aid and also for some of the sitting and sit to stand exercises.
  • Please also consider a surface or aid to offer balance support in front of you if you have any concerns about your balance.
